My Philosophy
A teaching philosophy is what an educator believes are the values and principles about teaching and learning. It is the framework for an educator’s approach to education, such as their goals, objectives, and methods for achieving them. It often reflects that individual’s personal experience or educational background. A teacher’s philosophy will typically represent their views on the role that they should play in a student’s learning process, and it will often guide that teacher’s practices and educational approaches. Having a strong, clear, and reflective personal teaching philosophy is important for aspiring teachers as it can offer guidance, promote self-reflection, and support their professional development. In any education, the roles of teachers and students play a crucial role in any individual's learning processes and experiences. The role of a teacher is to facilitate learning by creating a supportive and engaging learning environment while providing guidance and feedback, as well as designing and delivering effective instruction. Teachers should strive to continuously improve their practice through ongoing professional development and reflection. They serve as role models as they often demonstrate ethical and professional behavior while fostering positive relationships with their students.
